A comprehensive guide to coherence and its role in creating effective systemic change

This guide is offered by members of the Cohere+ project (2022-2025, Erasmus+), which has emerged around the observation that weaving coherence between inspired actors is a key element of success for the global movement of paradigmatic systems change. In the guide we explore the nature of coherence, its potential and its meaning for the specific context of the meta-modern. We identify factors that support or prevent coherence in individuals and communities involved in regenerative societal transformation. We offer tools and practices to build and expand capacity in consciously designing social spaces for the manifestation of coherence.  We give inspiration and impulses how to actively create “islands” or “communities of coherence” through supporting social architectures for more impact.
